Monday Mindfulness — Memorial Day Morning Reflection 015
Ron Boire

You know that I often speak about protecting your mornings. It’s a moment when the world is quieter and we are closest to our truest selves — unfiltered by emails, expectations, or headlines. On a day set aside for remembrance, the practice of morning gratitude and mindfulness can be more than a routine — it can be a profound act of leadership and humanity.
Start your day today by going outside. Breathe in deeply and hold your awareness on one simple fact: you are alive, here, now. Then, think of one person who made this freedom possible — someone who served, someone you never met, or someone you lost. Offer them your silent thanks.
From there, ask: How can I honor that gift today?
Leadership begins with the self. And Memorial Day reminds us that the most enduring legacy we can leave is a life lived with purpose, gratitude, and impact.
Honor the day. Honor the fallen. Honor yourself.
