Introducing Lead with Purpose [037]
Ron Boire

A video and audio series for leaders who want substance over soundbites.
I've been working on this for a while, and I'm excited to share that my podcast is live: Lead with Purpose.
It is a long-form video and audio series featuring leaders who are building something that matters: founders, sitting CEOs, board members, authors, and thinkers who have shaped how organizations grow, transform, and lead through uncertainty.
Why this, why now
There is no shortage of leadership content in the world. Most of it skims the surface: polished anecdotes, recycled frameworks, soundbites optimized for an algorithm. The conversations I find most useful, the ones I have with peers in private, are the ones that go past the polish and into the harder territory. How a leader actually defines purpose when everything is on the line. How they navigate the lonely middle of a crisis. How they make the calls that shape their companies, their teams, and their own lives.
Lead with Purpose is built to bring those conversations into the open.
The format
Straightforward: one hour plus or minus, unedited, peer-level dialogue. Video first on YouTube, with audio available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and wherever you listen. No scripted questions and no preview cycle. What we record is what you get.
Who you will hear from
The guest pipeline spans founders building companies now, sitting CEOs and senior executives, board members and investors, authors and academics, and leaders in transition. The common thread is depth. People who have built, broken, recovered, and learned, and who are willing to share the real version.
My first guest is Rita McGrath, Columbia Business School professor, Thinkers50-ranked strategist, and my partner at Valize. Rita has shaped how a generation of leaders thinks about strategy under uncertainty, and her clarity on innovation, transient advantage, and discovery-driven planning is hard to match. Watch or listen: Rita McGrath on Lead with Purpose.
More conversations are in the queue with Aidan McCullen, keynote speaker, Thinkers50 Award winner, and host of The Innovation Show. Bryce Hoffman, author of American Icon and founder of Red Team Thinking. Brendan Dowling, technology entrepreneur, advisor, and leadership coach focused on the growth of Ireland. Usman Humayun, transformational digital marketing leader. Kim, Erin, and Jonathan Clark, authors of Leading Through. More guests are in the pipeline.
If you know someone who might be an interesting guest, please forward them on or connect us.
How you can help
If this is the kind of leadership content you value, watch or listen, subscribe on YouTube or your favorite audio platform, and share it with someone who would get something from it. Word of mouth is how this grows, and I am grateful for yours!
